GAMES EDUCATION PART 9

Dear all Bloggers, Members and Readers

Today We present another Games Education that called :

ADJECTIVE GAMES

This game can be used as a first stage practice of new vocabulary with all learners that learn about Adjective Word. 

A. Goal

Learn about Adjective Word. This game also can use to learn other language too.

B. Level 

Primary School or adults

C. Times

10 Minutes

D. Procedure

-Instructor choose a student to demonstrate a word that mention by Him or Her like "FUNNY FACE".

-When Instructor say "STOP and DON'T MOVE" He or She will become a statue.

-Don't touch the students, then Instructor can continue giving instruction like "LIFT YOUR HEAD A LITTLE BIT".

-Then Instructor says "STOP and DON'T MOVE".

-The student has to demonstrate how to lift your head a little bit.

-Some other Instructions that can be used:

  "STAND UP WITH ONE LEFT FOOT, PLEASE"

-Divide the class into two : half of the class will be "sculptors" and the other half  "statues".

-Give each sculptor an adjective, for example: Sad, Generous, fierce, forgetfull, etc.

-All students will act based on the instruction.

-Alternatively put the student into pairs with one :sculptor" and one "statue" in each pair.

TIPS & TRICK

-We can use other focus like present continues tense like He is waiting, etc. 

-Students must understand about Adjective or Present Continues Tense first to start and run this game

-Use a body language first to explain the role play of the game.

Tonight We present Our Games Education Part 8 in English version that called :

PLAYING WITH MODAL 

"CAN"

A. Goal 

Students practice how to use "can".

B. Times

10 - 15 minutes

C. Level 

Primary School until adults

D. Procedure

-Instructor or teacher explain that one of student must exit the classroom for a while.

-While this student is not in the class, instructor will give the class a words, for example "WASTEPAPER BASKET".

-when the one of student that exit the classroom returns, She or He will try to guess the word from clues provided by the class.

-The students will give clues by using "CAN". 

-The member of the classroom will give maximal 8 clues or 8 sentences with the word "CAN".

for example

a. We can find it on the corner of classroom

b. You can put all thing that dirty 

c. We can buy in the market or hypermarket.

-Then if the student that returns can guess "Wastepaper Basket", He or She wins the games. 

E. Tips and Trick

-We can also practice "TO BE ABLE TO", and other MODAL like May, Will, etc. Depend on  students background and abilities of the classroom. 

-We can also practice other language like Mandarin, Korea, etc.

- Instructor must explain Procedure carefully, step by step for good result.
